'Best Lecturer' Nominations Sought

Attention, U of G students and alumni: Have you ever had a professor who delivered a lecture so inspirational you left the classroom with a different outlook on life and academia?
If so, you may want to nominate the person for TVO's annual "Best Lecturer" competition, which closes Oct. 1. All you need to do is send a 150-to-200 word e-mail letting TVO know why your professor could be Ontario's best.
Judges will choose 10 finalists from the nominee list to deliver a televised lecture on the TVO program Big Ideas in March. Viewers will then vote for the next "Best Lecturer." The winner's institution receives a $10,000 TD Meloche Monnex Scholarship.
